Welcome to the SOUNDS OF THE SUBURBS website, a concept created by Atomic Promotions.
Sounds of the Suburbs are a 5-piece indie/punk/rock covers band with both male & female lead singers performing songs from the greatest bands from 70's punk, to 80's New Wave and modern indie songs of today. The band chose their name as a tribute to the song 'Sound of the Suburbs' by punk 70's band 'The Members' as some of them remember punk the first time round!
Hailing from the Surrey/Hants area, Sounds of the Suburbs gig all over the South East and in particular, Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and London.
Bands in their repertoire include, Sex Pistols, Buzzcocks, The Clash, Blondie, Tenpole Tudor and The Members to Green Day, Kaiser Chiefs, The Hives, Stereophonics, The Killers & Supergrass and many more. Lots of crowd pleasing numbers plus some pogo-inducing tracks which guarantee to get any venue up and jumping.
